About Me
Long before I knew what a career in audio looked like, I knew how sound made me feel. It has always been home.
While other kids spent their afternoons on sports fields, I found myself in music rooms with my flute, backstage in theaters, or behind a mixing console preparing for the next performance. I wasn't just listening to sound; I had inhabited it. Sound became the place where I felt most connected, most creative, and most importantly, myself.
As I grew up, that passion naturally evolved into purpose. I began mixing high school theater productions, discovering that sound wasn't simply a technical craft. It was storytelling. A single cue could build anticipation, a subtle ambience could transport an audience, and the right mix could make people laugh, cry, or hold their breath. I realized that while audiences often remember what they saw, they felt what they heard.
That realization led me to earn my degree in Audio Production, where my passions bloomed as I fell in love with a vision of a future filled with compassionate storytelling of worlds one could only dream of, the blending of realities. Eventually, after graduation, I found my way into professional theater, where I worked on Broadway touring productions as an assistant audio technician. Night after night, I learned how to perform under pressure, collaborate with talented creative teams, and help create experiences that audiences would carry with them long after the curtain closed.
Those years taught me that all-encompassing sound is rarely noticed on its own—and that's exactly the point. When done well, it disappears into the story, allowing people to forget where they are and escape into an entirely new world.
Today, my passion is expanding beyond the stage. I want to bring that same philosophy of storytelling into film, television, games, and other forms of visual media. My goal isn't simply to make things sound good. It's to build emotional worlds through audio; worlds where people can be transported, connected, imagine, and feel something real.
No matter where my career leads, one thing will always remain true: sound is home. Every project is an opportunity to invite someone new into that space, even for only a few short moments. If I can help someone lose themselves in a story, find comfort, experience wonder, or simply forget the weight of the world for a little while, then I've done exactly what I’ve set out to do.
